The corp says projected level by Friday is 630.00 The current CFS at the Courtney river gauge is about 94,000 cfs. The river flows are dropping right now but with rain in the forecast who knows.

I think they are asleep at the switch. Check out the wall of water coming from Burburrnet and Terall Ok! The lake is already full. It will go over the spillway and carry huge numbers of fish with it. If they turn on all four generators now maybe that wont happen.

With the added rain coming this week, I think may is a washout for Texoma. May is normally the best month too.

Very much that's why they don't open the gates more. Texoma is a flood control lake.

The spillway is 640

yep, I went over the river south of Idabel on 37 on Sunday. I thought they had opened the gates but then I remember they normally will not until the flooding quits downstream. The river was within the channel on Friday but well out on Sunday. From what I saw I doubt they will open the gates any time soon.

The fish are not going to get washed out of the lake. The river downstream is too high to release any water right now. Check the downstream gauge at Dekalb, TX. The lake is doing exactly what it is designed to do, don't panic.

I heard them snoring in the office when I actually spoke to someone about what the water is doing. LOL! They are extremely forth coming with the info they have and you can go online and see the stream gauges up and down the red river basin to see the issue they are dealing with. That little bit of water between Burk and Terrel is nothing the wall of water has already passed those locations a day or two ago. the Courtney gauge was over 100,000 cfs sunday. Water is dropping at all gauges today in the red and Washita.

Ok. I'll not panic. However, I see it being two weeks before any ramps can open.
