Gates have been open on toledo and rayburn for months. Rayburn is still 3ft high +1. I noticed they cut back on Rayburn. Probably due to rain down stream. I would think they have enough sense to keep the lakes at a level that will allow for some more rain but also high enough to compensate for summer evaporation that is coming. If they leave them a couple feet high summer will take the rest. Then again, they've been doing this for a long time so I'm sure they have a plan.

If they don't keep those gates open they very well may have to close the ramps at Fork as well with all of the rain that is projected to come within the next week. If they did that I am pretty sure there would be rioting in the streets of Emory.

I got a special spot by the rose bushes all stacked up with rock for that big gal to camp out!

Wow I hate to join the people that complain on the forum so much but with it just a touch above full I think opening the gates is a bit premature. Even though it is suppose to rain the next week doesn't mean it will fore sure even hit around the lake. Much less that it will even be significant. I just hope it quits raining and I'm not sick so I can actually get to see it at full pool again. Why don't they just pump more for Dallas for now...

If the ramps are shut down I will be the one leading the riots.

Easy come easy go. A lot of lakes will spend the rest of May and into June releasing water.
