The ramp at Lake Athens is closed by the water patrol.Lake is 2 ft. high and rising water is brown with floating island of grass.I know of 4 small lakes that the dam broke and all this water is going to lake.

Got home yesteday and my dock, and all the docks on the lake are at least 6 inches under water. Had to tie off several of my neighbors boats that were floating off docks.

Wow...I don't know if the ramp is closed due to the danger of a dam breach on other lakes or just high water. If we get more rain this week it probably won't be open this weekend.

Fyi, last night the boat ramp was still closed and the lake patrol said people that have boats on their docks can use the lake, but the entire lake is a no wake zone.
