Fishing Fork the first week in June. Considering bringing the wife along but with our 19 month old I'm not sure fishing would be a good option for her and kiddo. Are there things in the area that they could do while I'm on the water?

Drop her off in Canton if she's into that sort of thing. There's really not much to do around the lake itself for the ladies.

Don't they have a bunch of outlet stores in Mt Pleasant?

Outlet stores in sulphur springs and Terrell. Tyler isn't too far, Mineola has some shops in downtown to browse through.

Your trip will be much more relaxed and less hurried if you can convince her to stay home. There's nothing within 30-45 minutes of Lake Fork that is of much interest to a female. As said above, she could go to Canton and probably spend both days there, but then again, Canton in June with a 19 month old? Naw, I'm out on that, too.

Haha. My wife and family wouldn't go with me. Ever. Except when I fish Table Rock. Then the entire family tree comes along. I still don't see them, they are in Branson the whole time. Lol. Been to "Rock" a lot, never been to a show in Branson. Wife says they are good shows. Lol.

Would need 3 days worth of entertainment, probably best to go solo.
