Is there a better place to be for smallies as far as numbers and size ?

Really, really looking forward to my first trip ever up to the big pond.

We'll be fishing out of Dunkirk and Hamburg. Hope the wind gods favor us with some manageable chop.

Can't wait !!!

Been there many a times. Lake Erie is a great place. May the wind be ever in your favor!

Hey Grapenut,
I am originally from there. I used to guide on Erie and the Niagara river.
I will guarantee you will not ever experience Smallie fishing like your going to there anywhere else on the planet!
Are you using a guide?
If so, who? I am friends with all of them and still do their mounts as well.
If you need a guide, hit me up, I can recommend the best!
Crystal clear water and you WILL catch fish over 5 lbs on every trip!
If you need tips on fishing it from your own boat give me a holler!
