Dang. We just ate lunch at the old Pompanos (I think its called the Island now) a few weeks ago and I commented on the line on the wall where they had the flood water level from the last major flood and said that I doubted it would get to that level again for a very long time.
From the looks of your pictures, it is only be about 9-11' from that old flood line. I doubt it will get there but it wont be very far from it by the end of next week I bet.

Looking good. Enjoy it while it last.
Side Note: Only thing bad is the flooding.

We ate dinner at the Island Bar last night and the staff were preparing to move product/goods to higher elevation because they anticipate the restaurant will flood within the next week or two. When the water level settles the fishing will be fun..but for now it's going to be tough. I might fish the Wednesday night tournament tomorrow if enough people will show..unlike last Weds, I was the only one who showed up to fish.

I crossed the Red south of Idabel on 37 Sunday and it was over the banks. I thought initially they had opened the gates on Texoma but looking at the website.maybe not. It sure was flowing. Bad news is during floods they will leaves gates closed to minimize downstream flooding.

Love all the rain but hate the flooding. Wish you can have fill up the lakes without the flooding!

It still has a long way to go before spillway stage however a lot of runoff from all directions empties into the lake.We will have to watch as this weeks rains come in

Definitely hoping for local residents not to get much more flooding, i have friends who have lake houses in the fish camps by the light house and the water is getting close.

Here are a few photos from the north side of the lake. These pictures are from Marshall County yesterday. There were a lot of areas where the culverts couldn't keep up with the rainfall. There is about 6-7 feet of water on the right side of the road. If you look to the left side, you can see it's flowing really good. This area is usually dry This is the Madill City lake little spillway. The most water I've seen come out of here, is a 2 foot wide some stream during a bad storm. Its about 60 yards wide and flowing pretty good This is a small creek that runs through Madill. It usually has water flowing, but only a foot or so deep. This picture doesn't do it justice.
