They keep rising here and I won't have to load the boat up and drive to the lake! Just undo the straps and let it float!

Three months ago, Amon Carter's water level was over 8 feet below normal. Now, it's over 7 feet above normal.

10 inches of rain in Corsicana yesterday. Navarro Mills rose almost 7 feet overnight!

There's water everywhere here in Gun Barrel City, too. I think we got over 8 inches of rain last night. In my back yard, see that 4x4 laying on the ground at the left edge of the photo? Before the rain last night, it was filling that gap under the fence that you see on the right side of the photo. It floated to its present location. My yard has quite a bit of slope. I guess I'm going to have to make some kind of Chihuahua-proof drain for that back fence.

Build a pipeline to Lake Travis and Buchanan from the northern lakes. We will take all of the water you don't want.

Keep on fishing.

Amazing where these lake levels were just 4 months ago compared to now. When the CAT Board set the schedule for 2015 back in Nov, we wondered which tournaments we might have to move because of low water and now we cancel one because all the ramps are under water.
But there's lakes that need water as DaveB said. Belton and Stillhouse sill very low. And thankful for all the rain we've had and hope to get.

Pipelines aren't built unless a profit is involved. Helping out other water districts is completely out of the question. Government rarely does anything out of common sense and the last 6.5 years have been the acme of idiocy.

I live in Chandler (a town literally located between the Neches River and Kickapoo Creek). I'm pretty sure our ENTIRE TOWN IS ABOUT TO FLOAT AWAY....and it hasn't rained here in about 36 hours!
