I was not sure that graph use was very common on such a shallow lake. Can you comment further on that? Id be interested. Thx.

I don't even run my big units on the lake anymore. I'm in on that question too

Sonar classes are available on Lake O Pines , Brandy branch, Martin creek and Caddo. I've taught two classes on Wright Patman.
I use my side scan sonar on any lake deep or shallow, it's another tool that can save you a lot of time.
To answer your question.
On Caddo I use my Side scan to find non emergent grass, cypress stumps, brim beds, ditches, creek bends. You can learn a lot with it.

Thanks for the tips the other day. I'm glad to see that there is a knowledgable sonar class available without having to drive to Lake Fork.

Brian-

What would you recommend as the best unit for Caddo? I'm about to buy one. Had lowrances before but I'm open to others you may like for that lake. Obviously good GPS capability will be good on that lake. Thanks for any recommendations and I'd like to hire you for a half day soon for fishing/sonar tips on Caddo. Thx.
