I noticed that Granbury is going down instead of up. Does anyone know if they opened the gates and if so how many? I hope they arent going to draw it down again!

These lakes were designed for flood control and drinking water storage and are managed for such.
Fishing and dock front homes are not really on the list of reasons they were built and play very little into how they are managed.

From BRA:
Brazos River Authority In the past 10 days, Lake Granbury has risen to nearly full and is now approaching capacity with continued inflow into the lake. The Brazos River Authority expects releases from the DeCordova Bend dam to be necessary in the coming days to pass the excess inflow downstream once the lake is full. The water will be released at roughly the same rate that it is flowing into the lake from upstream. As the inflow subsides, releases will be reduced with the lake remaining full. The BRA will keep you updated through Facebook with changes to releases as they are necessary.
