Well my garden is high enough with enough soil amendments that there is not even a puddle. But..... The rest of my yard has been a different story. I finally made the move today to dig a canal in the midst of a downpour. When I finally got the grade right it flushed like a toilet. I sure hope all of your loved ones are dry and safe. Hey turf hope your able to get to work soon you need to invest in bilge pumps and suck water out of people's yard right now. I know your ready for it to be over. I went to my moms in Gainesville today water crested right at the road level of 35 on the Trinity. And lake texoma is up another 2 feet today come on 640.

With the garden draining and the way it looks I should be able to sell several hundred pounds of tomatoes this year banana I really have my dirt looking good. My hydrangeas are covered in blooms and my perinial borders have finally filled in and are loving the rain especially after I drained the lake.

Funny you say that I did have to use a shovel broke the handle on my grubbing hoe. Would've made it much easier to shovel probably weighted a 100 pounds when I got done with all the mud cake down the back of it
