Never been farther than to the end of the Getty's and I am fishing out of a 21ft CC so I realize I better make it a calm day and watch the clouds for one. I seriously have no idea where to get a map of the good spots out from Galveston nor do I know how far out of how deep of water they will be in. Thanks for any advice!

I totally agree with lite-liner. Riks book is about as good as you could find.

Riks book will save you the time of searching and the close rigs are picked over. I have to go through 10 fish to get one keeper on the close rigs. Not worth the time As lite liner suggested, get the book. Money well spent.
