Ok funny, so the ramps are unusable(for power boats) because of low water and from what im reading some ramps are now unusable because of high water but kayaks can still use them no matter, right? Or will it be another case of nobody can use the ramps but if you can find a place to put in then yakkers again have lakes to themselves. Just struck me funny

If nobody is allowed to use the "ramp" just launch off to the side of the ramp

I believe that you can still launch from a "closed" ramp but you cannot drive past any barricade to do so. In other words, you'll have to cart or carry your kayak down the ramp to the water if the ramp has been roped off or barricaded.

Went and checked out Arlington yesterday after the storms. And wow! The ramp is gone! Yesterday when I was there it was .95 high. Just looked at Waterdata.com and is now 3+ over. So at Arlington you would be launching from the parking lot.

There are two boat ramps at Mustang Park on Benbrook -- one was closed and the one at the campgrounds I believe was open. There was a small barricade blocking the closed ramp, but the attendants at the fee station for the campground gave their ok to move the barricade to drive down the ramp to unload the kayak, then put the barricade back in place when unloaded.
