That is probably due to wind and water movement. You will see variations all day long on windy days. Besides .01" is not a big deal.

Yep!...then we will hear all the conspiracy theories of black helicopters stealing water at night.... roflmao

Go back and read some of the comments from just a few months ago. Lots of doomsayers talking about how things would never be the same and that the low water at Fork and other lakes was the new normal etc....LOL

Yeah laugh it up. The low water levels will return QUICKLY. The state is still in a major drought. And we all know the water isn't managed well.

Not laughing it up, just not looking at the negative side of it all. The rain was much needed and nothing wrong with being thankful and happy to have it. Its a whopping .01' lower than it was earlier. Not exactly a sign they are already draining it.

With the forecast calling for rain for the next 10 days, they SHOULD be letting some out. Gotta make room for more!

I gotta admit I love seeing it full but my view all along has been:
- As long as the lake has water in it, it will have fish in it.
- As long as the lake has fish in it, we will figure out a way to catch them.

In other words:
(1) Don't sweat the small stuff.
(2) It's ALL small stuff.

Well said.

Also for the people saying they will let it all out, or it will go right back down this summer. Wouldn't you rather the lake be full going into the summer instead of 7 foot low?

Enjoyed it while it lasted........

Some people just aren't going to be happy. Cyclical weather events have been happening for over 1 million years. The same conspiracy theorists on the low water levels will be along shortly because their favorite ramp is under water and they can't launch. Oh, the horror!! loco
