Just flipped to CBS, and MLF is showing on Caddo Lake. Glad to see this show taking off!

What's the big ball on the end of Evers Rod? It's called a Cush-it. It'll float the rod if it falls out of the boat, and keeps the butt end from wearing into your ribs.

What's the big ball on the end of Evers Rod? It's called a Cush-it. It'll float the rod if it falls out of the boat, and keeps the butt end from wearing into your ribs. Shaw Grigsby uses them all the time. I'm glad someone asked, because I've been wondering what they were. I always thought they were like a stress ball for when you lose a big one or get a fish landing penalty... But it is good to see the show on CBS. The only thing I don't like about the CBS version is how much they have to cut out of the show to make it fit in the hour window, then they make you wait a whole week to see the full 2 hour episode. And it seems like the CBS version has more commentary than is necessary.
