Belinda & I went out yesterday on Lake Palestine with Jason Burton.
Jason is a GREAT guy that knows Palestine intimately!
Sorry guys, we were chasing ditch pickles and I was testing Belinda's new bass baits out.
We were amazed at the amount of shad spawning in the shallow flats on the north end of the lake.
I, myself, have never seen so many schools of shad EVER!

The crappie spawn may have been hit or miss due to the changing water levels in E Texas lakes, but it hasn't affected the shad at all........

Those that can put this information into the puzzle may be able to figure out a pattern to put a limit of slabs in the boat

That made finding the specks a bunch easier....

Todd, I really enjoyed the day on the water. I'll be looking forward to seeing y'all again soon. I didn't make it up to fork yesterday, but went back out on Palestine. Caught several of those frog fish again. I'll give you a call next time I head up to fork.
