I took the tasking trying to run wire through my pelican bass boat. I knew there is Styrofoam in the hull but I didn't know exactly how it looked on the inside. there is very little space inside the hull. to get the wires through I used a fish tape and tied it on the end of the wires that were already pre wired and pulled it through. ill show pics in a little

if you do run wires a little up is to grease the wires when you pull them through. it makes it easier to slid a crossed the Styrofoam.

Yeah I figured I should write more haha, I'm just not good at writing up reports. I didn't feel like going into detail just wanted show what I was working on and maybe might inspire others. But I'm running the wire for the transducer I have mounted on the trolling motor in the back and the wires to power the unit on. I also ran wires for red and green leds on side for night boating. I also have leds that light the side of the boat so I can see at night. Getting through the styrofoam is really a challenge but I just stuck with it. I wanted something that would work for me, a custom job to fit my needs. I am not a expert I do general repairs and things around the house so I Can do some diy things. I didn't know the size of the grommets but after taking the original grommet to the shop the slit is 1/4 so I bought a couple of them being differnt sizes. I didn't mind putting holes in the boat cause it's my boat and I knew how I wanted it I just used an battery powered soldering iron to melt the plastic and close the screw holes for the larger holes I used a plastic plug and silicon. I know I'm just randomly talking(which how must of my conversations go) but if you have any questions I can try to help. I want to learn on to fiberglass and use it where I can on the boat

Thanks for the photos! I'm gonna give this a shot. I plan on getting a fish finder, lights, wiring for exterior mounted speakers, and other odds and ends.
