Muddy water at Texoma, maybe all the way to the dam now. Looking at the forecast, I don't see a single day in the next week where there is not a risk of a thunderstorm. That would sure make a day to remember, caught far from the launch point in a thunderstorm with high winds and lightning on Texoma is a small slow boat.

Ya this Weather is starting to get me down not that the lakes are full... I guess it is not good to say no more rain please, but at some points I just want to fish lol. Tomorrow might be ok in the a.m. but who knows lol

After the last three years there is no way I'm going to complain about the rain. I might just complain a little bit about the timing - why can't it give me a good 5 hour window every Saturday morning?

the fish gods are giving the stripers a break

I won't be complaining until Tawakoni is running over the spillway. But yeah, it would be nice to get a few hour window to go fishing this weekend.

Since I can only fish on Weekdays,and we do get long breaks from the storms during the day, add that to the fact that I am pretty much bank bound, I am still in all likelihood gonna get my fix. Did good last week and this week wasn't shabby, so, there ya go.
