Hey guys I'm heading out to South Padre in the end of June . Please advice me on your favorite lures , we will be fishing from shore in both the surf side and bay and of course off the Jetties . Any suggestions are appreciated. My 13 year old nephew has challenged his cousins in a fish off and I would really like to give him any advantage possible!

If I had to choose 1 for the bay, it would be a plum/chartreuse 5" SW Bass Assassin

I second that. I also like a pearl gulp shrimp on a 1/8th oz jig head
