Went out with Trent Miller guide on Tawakoni and he had us on the fish all day, live bait, lures, sandies, hybrids, even a few good size crappie, we did it all, it was a blast. After we got our limit of hybirds we started catching and releasing them. I had 2 poles going at one point, that was too much work, had to kick it down a notch to one pole lol. I'm worn plum out. 24 foot Falcon, that is a nice ride.

I'm on the left, that fish was 8.5 lbs, it was all I could do to bring it in. It was not the biggest fish of the day, but my biggest...

Had to stop and take a count here...

I fished with Trent during a striper tournament on Lake Tawakoni about 5 years ago when one of his regular tournament members couldn't fish that weekend. We placed 2nd that day. He definitely knows how to catch fish.

My son, grandson, and I went out with Trent about three years ago on Towakoni and had a similar day, and yes, it was one of my alltime best fishing trips.

Thanks for reminding me of this fantastic trip. And thanks Trent. Going to try and make it again this year.

Guy, it was a pleasure fishing with ya. Hope we do it again sometime. Nothing better to do in your off season than chase down hybrids.

Keith, good talking to ya at the boat ramp. Let's hook up again.

Eastexn, I'm ready when you are!

Fishing is great! I have openings if y'all want to see what Tawakoni's all about.
