Snake bit I was or it felt like there was no feeling at all.

Those darn black crappie (aka carpet munchers) were acting goofy and didn't want to feed or what ever was going on. A thump was not happening and I only felt one fish grab it all afternoon, the rest were just there or almost there, with a lot of swings and misses. Snake bit, I tell ya. I am sure the down pours, to bright skies, then back to rain again, on and off all afternoon probably didn't help me any either. About drove me crazy.

Anyways ended up with 20, fish were caught in 10 to 16 FOW on cover, no big fish today, just fat healthy post spawn fish.

Oh you poor poor soul.

I'll be lucky too catch that many all year

It was different for sure, can't remimber ever having that many come un buttoned on the way up, that will drive you crazy. Think I will stick with targeting white crappie.

I had a old man come by and ask me to take a pic of him and his 10 pounder he caught, it was a pig and full of eggs.

Kirk, Belinda was having an off day
She was using a topwater, buzzbait & wake swimbait for the most part. Although she did have some blow-ups, she couldn't make herself wait before setting the hook. She finally caught a fish on a Texas rig. I was following them up with a wacky rigged Senko & Eel, catching the fish she missed

I have to give her a , she fished hard for 6-7 hours, through a thunderstorm before she boated a fish.
