Those fish in the pictures were probably way too close to the camera, but the 51 beers is accurate.

We were there mid March with Pro Bass Adventures. I brought a group of 11 people down. They did a fantastic job. Big bass each day was well over 10 and 1 day an 11. They went above and beyond for one of our guests that had physical challenges. On the way home he told me that he had thought he never would be able to fish like that since his injuries. It was his bucket list trip. We had a great time in the boats with all of the guides. The food was excellent. Yes Hollywood is crazy and Luis will do anything to make you happy. Have him play the guitar and sing on the verandah in the evening.

Good day all. I'm heading to El Salto & Baccarac again now, because the fishing is outstanding...so good that I'm actually taking my wife I'll put her to work netting the pigs that will be flying in the boat. In order to help people experience the fantastic late season action at El Salto and Baccarac, I'm offering some great unadvertised deals to TFF members who might be interested in taking advantage of it. Call my cell (480 861 5021) or office (480 491 9300), or email me (info@mexicofishing.net), and mention the TFF offer, if your are interested in going in June/July...or next Fall. Both lakes are in fantastic shape with high water levels for this time of the year. Next season should be incredible, after the rains. If you have been thinking about fishing Mexico, the next 12 months should produce some of the best big fish action we have seen in years at El Salto & Baccarac. No BS. Here are a few pics from Larry G. and wife at Baccarac this week. Lots of 8 to 12 pound fish...on top and with Senkos. Give me a shout!

Hey Doug,
That's a great offer for the TFF community. Go ahead and sign us up for December again - there will be 18 in our group.
Can't wait.

Just got back and I need to clarify some of the above...On June 1 my dad only fished the chrome Baby Torpedo for the last hour of the day and probably had 20 on it till we decided to head in...I threw the clear/chart spro frog for about 20 minutes and had a 7 inhale it but that was my only hit...most of our fish were caught on flukes in the morning shallow with a swivel and then the rest of the day we threw watermelon/red lizards (dad) and brush hogs around timber and points...after lunch we went to a river channel and threw rattle traps and rogues and caught a lot of feeding fish...
On June 2 we again threw the torpedo early and flukes...Later on we back to the river chanel and I started throwing Keitech Impact swimbaits on 1/2 oz heads...this would produce my best fish for the rest of the week...my dad threw the rattle trap...when the fish would real start to came to the surface I would also throw a blue pro rouge and do nothing but jerk it hard all the way back...
June 3rd I had my best day ever...9-9 on a sexy shad keitech impact swimbait...9-2 on brush hog flipping around trees...an 8-8 and 7-10 on rouge...3 other 7's on the swim bait...at least 6 6's on all the above...my dad didn't throw a senko...he was throwing zoom fluke stick which looks just like a senko with a split tail...also watermelon/red zoom magnum lizards...
If I was headed back down in the near future I would have...a bunch of swimbaits (I like Keitech inpacts because they last 4-5 fish before tearing up and you can turn them upside down when the top gets ripped)...a few pro rogues...some torpedoes...some rattle traps (chrome/blue)...a lot of lizards (wat/red and black/blue)...a few backs of fluke sticks (green pumpkin is all I had)...some regular and mag flukes (white and houdini were what i did best on)...brush hogs or net bait mad paca's in watermelon with the tails dipped in yellow dye...a few deep fat free shad's (i hate cranks so I didn't fish them much but one of the kids had a 9-4 on it)...some War Eagle spinner baits in Spot Remover and Hot Mouse (these are good to mix in with the rattle trap)...
Things that did not work for us...Scroungers, Deep Cranks (except one fish that went 9-4)...Spooks...Red Fins...Pop-R's (I could not believe they didn't want a Pop-R)
Great Trip other than hotter than Hades...Lake is about 60% full and there is plenty of areas to fish...My hat's off to Jorge and his crew at Ron Speed's camp...Our favorite guides were Armondo Jr, Chito, and Oscar...
Don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions about what we did or didn't try...
