After a long wait some area lakes may just fill up. Miller Creek has risen almost 9 foot in the last 12 hours and the watershed is still rising. Prayers answered!

Awesome sight for sure!!!!! I hope it runs over the spillway, can't wait to head that way once it settles out in about a month.

God is good!!! Lake Thomas is quickly approaching full pool too!! Now if Arrowhead can catch up and White River gets a little more, I won't have to put so many miles on yhe Tahoe!?

I bet it fills completely up. Water shed is getting some very heavy rain again today.

It's up to a little above 50% of capacity this morning and still rising. Another 12 feet to reach flood stage. The lake manager said the last 5 feet to normal pool elevation contains 50% of the entire storage capacity of the lake. There's plenty of water over the boat ramp and the courtesy dock is floating; water is at least 5 feet deep at the end of the dock. I saw lots of floating trees, huge mats of tumbleweeds, and trash out on the main lake Thursday evening, and there will be numerous big trees which are now barely submerged, as usual. Come fishing with us after these storms pass over, but be very careful.

Went out to miller this morning to check things out. 63% capacity today. I went on the "boats only" dock with my pole and dropped a lure to the bottom, water is around 11' or 12' at the end of the dock, Water is still coming. Talked to GW and he said he heard of people catching crappie yesterday in flooded timber. Hard for me to believe as muddy as water is, but I guess it's possible.

Sadly my hometown lakes of Lake Sweetwater, Oak Creek, Trammel & Spence are missing out completely on the action.
