Yum made this creature bait with 6 tails/appendages that would kick up allot of water I used it over pads like a frog.

I've had hits on a brush hog and caw type baits after a bad cast where I was screaming it back on top of the water to make another cast.

Have had success doing this with berkley pit boss', I'm sure any bait that moves a lot of water will work as well.

I do it from time to time right before dark in really shallow water with a Paca Craw. I'll put a small split shot inside the craw to give it a little casting weight, then rod tip high, reel it just fast enough to stay on top of the grass and crud. I don't get a lot of bites but the ones you get are almost always a good fish.

Have caught a ton of fish buzzing a zoom speed craw. On some of those occasions fishing was really tuff and I wasn't getting bit on anything else. The smaller profile and the way those claws churn water really works. You don't have to real it all that fast to keep it up on top either, even with a small weight.

To me it's one of my confidence baits. You can lightly Trig it, flip it, pitch it, cast it, whatever.....try different speeds on the retrieve, from on top to a coupla feet under.....almost always get a hit and have caught fish up to 8 lbs on it.....also makes a great jig or chatterbait trailer!

Rage craws are easier to do that with than Speed Craws. Both are effective!
