I got this email for. A women I met at the VA. Her husband is perminatly parlized from the waist down do to I IEDs I have her lewis chemdawgs phone number. After hearing her story.

Hi, I am not sure if you will remember me. My name is Jenny Miller, my husband is Robert miller we meet at the VA last month. You told me to contact a gentlemen by The name Lewis, the guy who takes disabled vets fishing. I just want to thank you for giving us his information. I have been trying through all so called organization that say the do things for Vet Like take them fishing or get them out of the house and doing stuff, this is bull [censored]. I must have contacted just about all of them who either turnd me down for some reason. Or said they had no fund. I finally found one that was said that is this is what they do. So I thought great, I found someone to take my husband out for the day. It turned out they were just playing games with use, they set up 5 different appointments to take my husband out fishing for the day. The Night before, they would call and cancel every time. They have no Idea what that does to someone with sever PTSD.

My husband pretty much shut down, he would have panic attacks more much more often, his depression worsened. He would not leave the house. He started having thought of suicide again do to the depression. All because they did not want to fallow through with what they promised him. For guy with PTSD I found found out they do not think retional. And being let down time after time. Can make them feel unwanted. Before Iraq he use to love to fish. he was always out on the lake. All I ever got from any of them was that someone would contact use and reschudel we would wait weeks before we got a call from anyone. Then we got the run around and the guy wanted use to drive 6hr, which is out of the question. No one ever contacted me after that. We tried to set up a trip from my husband for over 7 months. No explanations or anything. All of the Non profit places out there that claim they help wounded worriers dont do anything. But pay there employs every well. With your donations, when they should be putting that money to the soldiers and there families like they promises The Biggest group of scammers out there is the wounded Worrier Project. I found out they only use 17-25% of the money that they get goes twords soldiers. The rest goes to the ceo and the the head honchoes. The money from peoples donations and the government to help these guys. I can tell you personoly they are all a bunch of [censored]. My husband loss the use of his legges in Iraq in 2007 on top of being crippled from the waist down he suffers from an IED, sever PTSD, Sever Anxity. He almost never leaves the house. Do to depression

Jason he guy you put me in touch with Lewis I believe his name is. took my husband 3 days after we called him, He has taken him 2 more time in the past month. He even made a seat for him to sit saftey. He catches fish lots of catfish and loves it. He gets to do something he loves and has not done in years. His mood has changed a lot he actly wants to get out of the house some times. His anxiety attacks have lowers quit a bit. Lewis even takes our 10yr son fishing with them Bought both of them there own fishing poles and reels. It may it was a really big deal to my husband who was wanted to tack our son fishing so but is unable to. It may not seem like that big of a deal. But that was the frist time he as been able to go fishing with his dad for the first time, that night my husband cryed when he got home.He was so happy to spend the day doing father son stuff. I have to say I really did not have much hope till I meet him. Being a disabled Iraq Vet him self. He Explained someone once helped him work though some of his issues. He to is a severłly disabled vet. And is is able to do this for others. It is just wonderful that he does this free of charg to vets and service members. Not to mention he does it all free he even bought my husband and son a new cat fishing rods since they dont have there own..

i just want to take a second and say thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to help veterans. I am a veteran myself and it makes me smile a little bit every time I read a story like this. Once again thank you and very much gratitude to you.

No i did not make him a customer seat i just rigged it so he would not fall is all I took some of the screws out of the things on the live well seat when guys go who are parlayed i am able to slip strap under the seat and keep them from falling our of the seat. i dont use my live well any how so it not an issue i dont even think the like well pump works i think she has a few thing wrong but it is nice to know it is helping someone fishing has help me with ptsd more then anything that any doctor can give you it is hard to explain but it is why i spend all the money i make on these guys it not only help them but helps me. I get email and phone calles all the time about how much being on the lake helps them relax and when you on the lake you dont have to me as hyper vigilant. wich helps you relax siren 90 % of the time there really is no one around your anxiety decreases and over time you learn to ralx a bit does it help 100% No but enough to help get part of your life back. so if you see guy service member retires vets take them out the will more then appreciate it. i get calls all the time and have 3 trips saturday sundsay and monday set up i just really dont post the pic of there trips or of them i just dont think it is my place to post them

When she emailed me it kind of choked me up. So I thought I would post it. Just so you know he realy does what he says he does and spends all the money he makes on dissabled vets and active duty guys and retired military. She had been sitting with her husband at the va waiting on labs when started taking with her. She was in tears as she told me what he happens. She was saying that every organization she contacted gust gave her the run around. Did not return calls or email. I know first hand that most these origination are full of [censored]. They do it just for the tax break. I gave her Chems card and told her what he does. Just call him call he would have them out fishing ASAP. she said she would call when she got home. I guess they had a few good trips to Waco. I am sure just getting on the water with his some was more then enough. just so every one knows there my be a new Guid in the Waco, Limestone lake area next month.

Damn, Lewis you are truly a good man. Reading the original email brought tears to my eyes.

I myself am a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Knowing there are great men out there like yourself, who are doing the good work to make our fellow veterans' lives better, fills me with pride.

I've been buying Mr. Roberts' punch bait for ten years now. However, I will from here on out be buying from you.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your service to not only this great country, but to our veteran community.
