Anyone out there use Anise oil or extract?

I do. I use it full-strength on plastics and mixed with glycerine in the goop in which I keep my pork eels and frogs.

You can buy it in the spices department of just about any grocery store.

I use it religiously in my deer feeders, pour a bottle all over my corn when I fill it up.

I don't use it now but in the 70's we used it. Mix a couple ounces of Anise oil from the grocery store with a bottle of Johnson's baby oil and you have a good worm oil.

We used to dunk every worm in it before using it. Now most worms already have a scent but it would probably still help descent the bait. I might have to try it again and see if I have more luck with than without it.
