A friend wanted some jigs and he actually wanted both the stripped down version as well the Hot Rod version. There would have been more of the first ones on the left, but I already gave him a pack of each before this. Also never think that stripped down version doesn't catch a lot of fish! I have several guys that is all they get and do very well even with no flash in tail!

Good looking jigs. I'll throw my hat in the "no flash" ring. I don't use it either.

Thanks guys I do really appreciate all the feed back and complements!!!

You know I use to never put flash on mine, but at some point some one convinced me that I should try it and I still don't know if one is better than the other really! All I know is the way I tie in flash sometimes makes me have to do it over again and when tying jigs with flash I spend about 2 times the time on each jig as an average. However I do not just use one long piece and wrap it over and trap and tie in. I cut each side as a separate piece and tie it in like a lateral line and I make sure it's curve always curves in to the jig tail.

Anyway thinking I may have to study that a little more and use more without since I have not used one without flash in a good number of years now and I was quite happy before I ever put any of that on my personal jigs, LOL!

Don't you just hate it when your confidence is tested? Will find out if not this year since Spring is gone, but next for sure and maybe this summer!

Understand and have same kind of thing, but most of what I have tied 8 years ago and never used yet, well don't think I probably will so have been thinking of something to do with a bunch of my old stuff never used and some is really good, just not what I am grabbing right now, LOL! I have no clue how many jigs I have here tied and just sitting around. I will come up with something, maybe give some to our Volunteer Fire Dept to sell at this years event for raising money. Every time I give them some jigs they sell out before they even put them out to sell, LOL! All the guys working their event end up taking them for their selves, LOL!
