That would work, so would a spoon but, I sure would stand a better chance of 'lasing' them...and no injury (I hope) the the 'pest'!! God Bless... (think I'll opt out of the shotgun method... ) Good to see you on here WC!!!!

Several years back. I was fishing the rocks on Ray Hubbard. These Jet Ski's were contantly zipping around. I knew the Police were on the other side of the Bridge. So, I cranked up the big motor and made a short run away from the bridge, to see if they would follow and jump my wakes. Well, they followoed and jumped my wakes. So, I head back under the bridge and get up on pad after the no wake bouys. They followed me and started jumping my wake and the Police pulled them over. That was probably one of my best day's on Ray Hubbard. I guess you could say I caught some fairly big fish that day. lol

They really need to push in Texas to mandate the boaters card.

I know that they can get really annoying.
you know, nothing wrong with seven men who met on the internet going for a swim together

We were discussing this yesterday among other anglers. One guy started throwing a large spoon at them (hooks removed) and when they saw spoon coming at them, they left and never came back

LOL, they are 'SUPPOSED' to stay away a distance.... good luck with that.. God bless Several years back. I was fishing the rocks on Ray Hubbard. These Jet Ski's were contantly zipping around. They have to stay a certain distance from a boat wake. I just don't know what the distance is. Operation of Your Personal Watercraft NOTE: Children under 13 are specifically prohibited from operating a PWC unless accompanied on board by a person at least 18 years of age who can lawfully operate the PWC. All operational rules for regular motorboats also apply to PWC. In addition to those requirements, it is unlawful for any person to: operate PWC at night (sunset until sunrise); operate PWC within 50 feet of another PWC, motorboat, vessel, platform, person, object, or shore except at headway speed without creating a swell or wake (Headway speed = Slow, idle speed, or speed only fast enough to maintain steerage); and operate a PWC and jump the wake of another vessel recklessly or unnecessarily close.

I'm willing to bet money most of you don't cast Lures at jet skies. I'm also willing to bet you don't get near them if you try. Do it to a wakeboard boat full of drunk grown men. That is just asking for another shooting or stabbing.
