Took the 2 man out yesterday and tried the shallow end of the lake and mouth of feeder creek with zero bites. First skunk in a long time but o well.
Went this morning and it took me a while to find fish that wanted to bite, hit 2 brush piles in 20-30 FOW and marked tons of fish but no takers. Made my way to a dock and a single stick up that's in 9FOW and bam. I finally found the fish that wanted to bite and the jig they wanted was a Thump Buddy in Old Faithful. I caught about 30 or so but less than 10 keepers. The best fish was a dandy.

The small fish is 11 inches.

Thank you very much for the shout out Mr Snowden. It looks like those fish have been eating golfballs!

Lane the big fish did have a good amount off eggs but my curious 8yo daughter wanted to see what it had eaten. So I obliged her and opened up the belly to see a giant shad curled up in her belly. It was crazy to see the size of shad that was in there and made me shocked that she jumped on that thump buddy.
