Was down there this weekend and had tremendous luck on Sat. The whole ocean was clear and almost like a lake. Minimal surf at all. I am not a big game fisherman, I just want fish. I got quite a few, some keepers, some not, but all in a wonderful day. Sunday was a little tougher with wind and a more normal time and surf.

we got down there Saturday night and struggled with wind and brown tide on Sunday on Monday in the Bay, looks like we should have done what you did!

I am sorry to hear that benp. I had the same thing, so much wind on Sunday we got maybe 6 and finally went to Packary, and those were maybe 4-5 between the two of us, with none bigger than our hand.

Highbread, we used fishbites and some dead shrimp. The fish bites in a neon green color worked very well.

I don't see myself having much luck this weekend, alot of fresh water pouring into the bays with all the rain the past few days and the wind is supposed to be around 20-28mph on Saturday. Would be a miracle to catch any specs in those conditions. Try and find a pier that has the best water is all I can hope for. Sure I will hit the surf one day while the wife is laying on the beach
