You can catch fish from he bank on Texoma. From the damn on down to 377 bridge. I do all the time. Even if I go out in my boat, I often beach it, get out and wade fish wind blown points. It can be a huge pain to run a trolling motor in a light boat in the wind. Almost any public boat ramp on Texas side has some legit bank access. Most parks have a day use fee. I have caught fish simply walking the bank often by grandpappy boat ramp. Unforunately, I have been unable to go this year as of yet. That will change tomorrow. I use topwaters and jerk baits, in silver or shad colors. sometimes I keep em sometimes I release em. Here is a picture from last year. Even with the lake up, if you dont mind getting your feet wet, it can be done.
