http://www.yumbaits.com/yumbrella-flash-mob

It is the flash mob and it looks like it will catch alotta fish!
Any experience with these? What kind of bait to use? Can you use live or dead minnows/mullets on these?

Can you use them in salt water on the surf?

- yes
- 5" swim baits/on Picasso jig heads.
- you could

- I wouldn't. Just can't cast that far.

Make the middle swim bait bigger than the rest. Say the swimbaits are 3inches make the middle one 5 or 6 inches, and so on

Match your plastics to the size of the baitfish you are seeing. If you are fishing for LMB or Whites, choose a simple color for the four outside swimmers, and a contrasting color on the middle. The weight of you heads/hooks will dictate what you throw it on. A steady retrieve is fine, but the occasional 'FLASH', or 'BURN' will sometimes trigger a strike. If you are looking for saltwater, buy a different Umbrella Rig designed for it.

Lately I like 3-4" ribbed swimmers like the Keitech; BPS Speed Swimmers; Kicker Fish Tail Slappers. I use these smaller ones on a 1/8 oz jig head. I have gone down to a light wire 1/16 just to make it a little more compact and easier to cast. A 4-5" on a 1/4 oz for the middle.

White, White Ice, Sexy Shad, or Threadfin Shad have been my colors of late.
