I am going to take my dad and brother fishing in June. My dad is 80 and works 7 days a week. Hope to find striper or white bass. Any help would be appreciated . I am new to this kind of fishing. I have been using 4 inch plastic swim baits. Do I need to us slabs or troll. I have a 23 ft CC. I am coming from DFW area and staying in Rocksprings. I have not been to Amistad in 25 years and that was to ski lol fish

You will probably be using the Rough Canyon boat ramp. They will be in there somewhere early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Google your guide list and give a couple a call they will be glad to let you know exact locations and how to fish for them.
