One of my favorite night time honey holes turned aqua turquoise green overnight. Looks just like some of the ponds at Bethany which is why I dont fish there anymore. What the heck did they put in it? It has a bunch of nasty slime stuff on top too. Neighborhood pond down the street from me

Sounds like an algae bloom to me. Pictures would help out for sure. If you have been getting as much rain as the rest of the Dallas area fertilizers could have washed into the pond causing a bloom.

Sometimes results in a fish kill, if the oxygen levels dip too low.
It was a different world when we were boys and girls....
