I have heard mixed things lately about the Core of Engineers letting water out of Lewisville. Are they doing it now or do we know when? I have not been there since I was a kid, can people still fish there at the top of the wall like we did back in the day? I was told they charge people to go there by one person and told they don't allow fishing there at all anymore by another. What is the deal?

Park off the side of highway 121 right at the Trinity River bridge and walk up the west bank to the old railroad bridge columns. Probably 3/4 mile. Fish your way back down to 121. Crappie like little bitty jigs right against the cut banks and tree roots. Channel cats like shad gizzards. If you can still find them.

Ive been thinking about trying the river below the lake for blues at night. I drive by several times a day and keep seeing so much water coming out. I imagine if one could find a cut or bend in the river where fish could get out of the current then they'd find some nice fish right now.
