Do any of you guys ever use circle hooks on a drop-shot rig? I have a casting outfit, 15# fluoro line, rigged with a strong circle hook to try on my next trip. (I use both casting and spinning gear, but prefer casting.)

Owner Mosquito Hooks for me. Usually size 1 sometimes go up to a 1/0 depending on the size of the bait I'm using. Similar to a circle hook and the best drop-shot hook I've ever used. Owner Mosquito Hook

Thanks SRitchey for the reply. I've been using Mosquito hooks also, but thought I'd try a circle hook to reduce the number of hooks that get into the fish's gut. Circle hooks have worked well for me on a wacky rig, hook them in the side of the mouth every time.
