Are tough. It's great to see the lake full but most of the flats look like this:





There are mounds of fire ants all over the shallows. I somehow managed not to take a direct hit but did get a few annoying bites. Watch your step out there!



There are fish everywhere though. I was able to land a few.





It was great to get outside on such a nice day.

Yep. Great pics. Looks like a good spot for some lightly weighted flies to keep them out of the grass.
