As I sat in my truck on this glorious Sunday morning listening to Howard Garrett's Dirt Doctor radio program before Sunday service, I could not help but admire all of the beautiful landscaping at my church.
And as I admired all the hard work and expense that went into creating a true thing of beauty, I could not help but look at some of the most prominent shrubs and trees and think those sure would make some great crappie condos grin
I suppose as long as I don't go back in the middle of the night with a chainsaw I am not crossing the line of unlawful behavior, still those thoughts did feel like they were all kinds of wrong grin

But don't forget, the Good Lord was also a fisherman, so you might get a favorable audience at some point and time in the distant future...... or not....flame

You are so right, Buz. It is the "or not" that had me concerned. I remember walking into the sanctuary after seeing the landscaping through crappie goggles and feeling impure; more than usual after a full week between sermons.

DFW, I went to Lake Benbrook on Saturday and fished the inlet that has been producing some nice fish in recent weeks. I only caught one under crappie and a small yellow bass. I think I now have to direct my attention to other species until November. It sure was fun while it lasted.

Never think like that (I think I now have to direct my attention to other species until November). Crappie bite all year long. thumb
