When was the last time anyone was able to fish there by boat? It came up FAST and is now full so I may head out there this weekend.

It has been close to 3 years for me. A week ago, the water was really muddy/stained, as expected. Haven't been out since then. I think there is a kayak tournament out there Saturday. I am going to try and make it out too.

Did you ever make it out Soonerfan-n-TX? I'm going to try and go tomorrow afternoon. Have my kids pine car derby at the church in the morning and had too many chores today.

I went out yesterday and the water still looks like mud. Theres still alot of floaters everywhere so be careful. Three hours and never got a bite. Dallas kayak club had a tournament there and I talked to a couple of them and they weren't catching anything either. It will be at least another month before that place is fishable again after this next big rain comes through. Sure was good to be in the boat again on that lake though!

You never want a drink of water till the well runs dry

Haulin, I made it out Saturday afternoon. After finding a parking spot, ugh, went and hit a few spots. Ended up only catching one in the cove with the camp sites. Yeah, I agree with txfsh, gonna be another few weeks until the chocolate milk settles. And yes, so good to see the lake full!!!
