I expect to see a ton of boats at Fork tomorrow. What would you Fork 'regulars' expect to pay off more: beating the bushes, or typical post-spawn presentations?

Shallow should be good. Then bluegill should be bedding by now and there are always big bass nearby to munch on them. Try a Zara Spook with some yellow or chart on it.

Shallow bite is terrible expect first thing in the am and only then in a few spots. Toughest fishing I have seen for this time of the year.

My bites today came pushing far back in coves and pockets and throwing a hollow body frog in a natural frog color. They are super shallow. They bit mod day in the sun as well. Still plenty of fish on beds you just gotta slow down to see them. Its gonna be crowded but the fish are used to it. Most I talked to had a very slow day out there today. I only fished about an hour but got bit doing what I just posted.

Caught 16 all on flukes in 1 to 3 foot of water. Go as far back as you can and look for the pockets and smaller coves within the larger ones. Hope this helps
