I caught my first "Black Nose" crappie yesterday at R. Hubbard. I've only seen them in pictures, until yesterday.
Pretty cool. Please share photos of your "Black Nose" crappie.

Tim

Welcome to the club! Always cool to see that strip when you are reeling them in.

Catch them at Lavon and Cedar Creek too. They are Black Crappie. I stocked a fishing pond about 5 years ago and I have lots of them in it.

Aren't those the ones that you can get off the trucks that sell fish? Believe they are mostly sterile so they don't over populate a pond too quickly.

The camera that I used was just my cell phone camera. Samsung Note 3.
The camera on that phone is great.
