Check out our dock on Fork now!!!! I'm so excited!!! Already caught Cats, bass, perch, crappie off of it this week.
I also seen three black & Red snakes. The first pic was taken Nov 30, 2014 when lake was down over 7' now today's pic .. Yeah!! Water up to gate!!! Almost full pool .19.

***Now my question is if this was your dock what would you put under it to attract fish. I love Cats & Crappie but also want it to be good for the fishermans to catch the big Hawg. It's about 7' deep at end now.. Your suggestions would be appreciated.

You can never go wrong with a bunch of brush! That right there is an awesome sight. Haven't seen this much water in the lake ever I don't think banana

PVC is great and fisherman friendly for any species
Otherwise I'm a fan of hard wood cover as it doesn't dissapear or rot away like willows

In addition to what you have already been told, a good option is Rocks/cinder blocks near middle/back piers.

It would of been easier before the fill up but I would make a couple "rock piles" out of cinder blocks. There is timber all over the lake, rock would give them something a little different to relate to.

Thanks all, we already have a few Christmas Trees under dock, and will go get rock & Cinder blocks, I can also get PVC and hubby being pipe fitter can put together. The workers here at Little Mustang are always cutting up old docks & Trees and burn so will start getting a few pieces for dock. I will send more before & after pics, it truly is a wonderful site to see all the water.

Sure hope yall have GPS because you trees have disappeared 😧

Thanks

The black and red snakes are mud snakes. Non-poisonous and harmless but I'm sure based on comments I've seen on snake threads that some great conservationists will say kill em all. stir
