Fished on Sunday. Very muddy in the upper end but not bad down south. Just a little stained. Tough bite. Caught fish pretty shallow on main lake points on flukes.

It was a tough bite today. I only managed a little fat spot and a catfish on a chatterbait. Missed one good bite on a frog but that was it. Upper Indian to midway back wasn't as muddy as other areas on the upper part of the lake.

Got 4 last eve. But three of em were thirty minutes before dark on one fifty yard stretch of bank in flooded weeds. Just hit or miss...

I fished it Saturday week before last from morning until noon. Then this past weekend starting Saturday from morning to 2pm, went back out from 6pm to midnight. Then back out Sunday from morning to noon. Total fish were one bass, four sand bass and one crappie all while bass fishing. Was very difficult. I believe it's been tough for everyone lately. This is my first time fishing this lake and trying to learn it and it's fishing patterns. It can't really get any worse... I'm sure I'll back on at some point over the weekend and possibly Monday.

Fished Roberts Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Fair. Yesterday was sort of funny. Didn't see anything working the water, not even bait fish. Only managed on small male on a nest. High pressure, I guess.

And post spawn blues for the fish and a whole bunch of new cover to choose from with all the newly flooded vegetation. Lake has not been this full for several years.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

I fished there last Sunday. I fish from the bank so take it for what it's worth. I don't like the high water because my bank is gone! I still managed to catch a couple of spots in a couple of hours right at sunrise. One was on a buzzbait and the other was on a popper.

The carp were still really active and I had some bump into my legs. All the new brush looked good but I had better results before the water came up.

I'm heading out there at lunch and staying till Sunday. Hoping the full moon Monday will bring a wave of late spawners up on the lower end of the lake.
