Might be a silly question but with all this rain can you still launch at the ramp up north by the 315 bridge? And how has the fishing been?

Good fishing last two trips out.. last Friday and yesterday. Spinner bait slow, over the grass in 2 to 4 feet of water.

A good rule of angling philosphy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

How is the water in the Kickapoo area? Is it just mud or its normal stained color?

You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
