Going to Caddo for the first time in about 2 weeks. Could I get some recommendations on lodging? Thanks.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Look up shady glade or places around uncertain Texas. But there are a couple places around JOHNSON ranch that is close to good fishing.

I stayed at Shady Glade about a month ago and it was very nice. Clean and quiet room. ( Lakeside Cabin ) felt very safe with my boat outside. Good food but and easy to get to. Only draw back is that restaurants close early. If you fish late in the day like we did you will have to go to Marshall to eat dinner.

I would vote for shady glade as well. Good ramp and may can just rent a boat slip. Never stayed there but that's where I always launch

Salvania isn't an issue right now. Lakes been WAY above normal pool twice this year. It's falling back down right now.
