How can I check to see if my alternator is working? Battery dies after day on the water.

take a volt meter and hook it to the battery with the motor running and it should read between 12.9 and 13.8 while running. make sure to hook water to it or you can check it at the lake. voltage varies per motor.

If you fish finder has voltage you can watch that after you start it to check for a rise.
