Any word on water conditions/clarity? Figuring it is probably still a little murky. Noticed Mr Parker was guiding there on Saturday though from his Facebook page.

I was out there yesterday and there was no water going over the spillway. There are no gates on the dam only a spillway. It is full. Looks great. It's been a long time coming. The water looks like chocolate milk. Just saw one boat on the water.

Anyone fished below the dam this week? Have there any hybrid been caught below the dam yet? Last time I caught hybrid there was in 2007. I live in Plano. I plan to go there soon, if they continue to release the water.

I was there on Sun and Mon.

Hooked into 3 hybrids on Sun but didn't get a single one in. One broke off just as I was trying to lip the fish a few feet from me. However, if you just plan on getting your line stretched, there are tons of small mouth buffalo and gars. Caught 7 buffalo on Sun and 5 on Monday. Half was foul hooked and the other hit my hand tied teaser hook.

If catfish is more of your thing, fish on the west side of the discharge by the eddy. I have seen crappie guys pulled 15-20lb flatheads and a 40lb blue from the eddy. Below shows the how the water looks, and that is with the discharge at 755 cfs. As of Wed, it was cut in half. Might be out there tomorrow or Mon. Good luck.
