I want to go fishing tomorrow, and I need to include the fiance'. I can't drag her kicking and screaming to Fork, she's (we) been skunked too many times haha. I can, however, get her to Twok since she's had the pleasure of hooking into a big hybrid or two. But I've got the bass itch. I may have to tell her we are going hybrid fishing and then literally pull the bait and switch. Anyone know some good general areas/tips to fish Twok for bass? I'm thinking of following some of the same patterns that are working at Fork. Shallow, flooded grass with weightless plastics, frogs, spinners, squarebills, etc. Maybe some marinas? I was thinking maybe some of the flooded grass up in Oak cove north of the 276 bridge by Sky Point park? Maybe Rabbit cove? Duck cove? I've only fished Twok for bass once. Or maybe I'll just have to try to get after some hybrids afterall....

The dam shallow side, state park, wolf cove, and some points are producing good, a friend of mine went today off the bank and caught a couple 2s and 3 using black red flake worms and craws Trigged

Areas closer to the dam might have better water. I fished in Waco Bay yesterday and it's still really stained from rain runoff.

thanks for the tips y'all! Lake is still very stained, even up at the dam... not that it should matter that much if at all. Keep on coming rain!
