I'm going to get one this week. I read in the reviews the only issue was it eliminates the warm up lever for start up. You have to rig up another cable for warm up. I need my warm up lever for cold starts. Will just stepping on the pedal during start up work the same way as the warm up lever?

Current Cylinder Index is 42.

Didn't mention your motor.

Cranking an E-TEC while stepping on a hot foot throttle will throw a TPS fault code but E-TECs auto adjust already for optimum starting on a cold engine crank.
