I think it is also a little easier for the younger guys like me, where 15k could go along way into helping your future

$10k plus my boat payment, storage, and insurance paid for. That's $20k in my pocket, then if you think about the gas and tackle not used... probably another $10k.
That's a lot of bar tabs, beach vacations, and golfing.

Pretty much everybody on here pays thousands every year to fish, so I guess most tff'ers have already said no thanks cause if they quit they would save thousands of dollars.

It would be hard. But I would say 40-60k would be around my selling point for a year. That's a new truck and allot of money I can save to buy twice as much fishing stuff the next year

Rough guess it would take $50,000. New duck boat and a trip to Africa hunting. Argentina for ducks and dove. Elk in Colorado with possible mule deer. Man it would be tough.

You get paid 10k, plus you'll probably save that atleast 10k a year too. 20,000 is quite a bit

If my elbows dont get better I am going to be not fishing for free. I was out from last November until February for elbow surgery and it sucked. No way I could do it for it for a year. Agree with Fouz - no amount of money.......

There would have to be at least 1 MILLION on the table before I would even consider it and I don't know if that would even be enough!

I would do it for 10k in a heart beat. I would then take that 10k and buy me a new off road toy and spend the year on the trails! All the days when I suck at fishing(that is most) I do miss this!!!

I voluntarily sold my boat and didn't fish for 18 YEARS...but I had SCUBA diving, cruises, and photography to take up my time. Today, no. I wouldn't skip a year for $10K.
