Money is part of it yes but honestly I think it's the lake, I've fished it 2-3 days a week since January and its been so tough for most anglers out there. Had some 25+ fish days but mostly 1-5 fish days and that's just not worth a night of fishing. But I'm curious to see if the guys whacked em out there last night or not? What were the sacks??

Every lake in the metroplex has been doing there working man's tourney. Eagle mountain, bridgeport, benbrook, lake worth, ray roberts. It was then entry fee so we lowered, then it was the time so we changed it now your saying wait til june. Lol ok anything else?

You will never please everyone. Our community makes me laugh. If you don't want to fish, then don't. If you do, the show up and fish. It's that simple. If you're fishing working man's tournaments for the money, you are going to be disappointed. Working mans are meant to be for fellowship and to compete for one weeks worth of bragging rights. There was just a tournament on Vine that was a $150 entry a few weeks ago...where were all the big spenders then? Because they definitely didn't show up. Now I'm starting to remember why I put up this sport for a few years.

Never really understood why folks would jump on a tourney thread to say they aren't coming. Who cares.

I was just saying don't stop! I'm trying to buy a house so my obligations are elsewhere right now! Plus tough to go out and have a decent evening bite but once it turns dark it shuts down! It gets better into and through the summer! I'm not b-tching just say don't stop! Sensitive little girls!

No matter what you do somebody is going to complain. I think since you are the one running the tournament then you should consider what works best for you as well.
